PRODUCTS Where do you get your inventory? Manufacturers produce billions of dollars in excess inventory each year. TradePort has built relationships with leading manufacturers, retailers and distributors to purchase those extra products at deep discounts and pass the savings on to you. Name-brand companies are forced to sell their excess inventory for several reasons:
Manufacturers are often forced to sell this first-quality inventory quickly, and often below their cost. Moreover, they don't allow these products to appear in retail stores because it may discourage customers from buying newer, more expensive models. Instead, they turn to TradePort, the online leader in buying and selling name-brand excess inventory. I saw a product on your site last week, but now I can't find it. What happened? All of our products are on a limited basis. Once we have sold out of an item, we remove the listing. However, we post all available items as soon as we receive them and they have been evaluated, so check back often. We do not have any information in advance about what items we will be receiving. How do I find out more information about the items you have for sale? We make every effort to provide a detailed description of each product we post. This means that everything we know about an item is available on the posting. If you are looking for more detailed information than what we have provided, try visiting the Web site of the product's manufacturer to see if more information might be available. Google and Yahoo search engines are a GREAT resource for finding product information quickly! The item description does not match the photo exactly. What product are you offering? When an item is in perfect or near-perfect condition, with no visible faults, we often use stock photos of the product. Product representation is at the discretion of the TradePort Fulfillment Group. What is TradePort's Product Evaluation Process? All our products are certified with TradePort's exclusive 3-Point Product Evaluation Process. TradePort's exclusive 3-Point Product Evaluation Process. Before we sell it, every product is checked for Condition, Appearance and Functionality. Why are the products evaluated by TradePort? The TradePort Product Evaluation Process is designed to help consumers clearly understand item quality and condition before deciding if they would like to buy. Full disclosure of product quality is designed to guide your purchase decisions and ensure that products purchased meet your expectations. Is the product that I purchased NEW, USED or REFURBISHED? First, refer to the “Item Specifics” section of the eBay auction listing under “Condition”. Many of the items that we sell fall into an Open Box/Resealed category. This category is not represented in the “Item Specifics” section of the auction listing because it is not recognized by eBay. Second, refer to the TradePort “Product Condition” section located on the left side of the product listing below the primary product photograph. TradePort's 30-day limited warranty is a defective exchange policy that provides for either repair or replacement (at our sole discretion) of merchandise that has been confirmed as defective by TradePort. TradePort's limited warranty terms and conditions may vary by product. Click here for more information. Can I purchase additional warranty coverage after TradePort’s 30-day warranty expires? SquareTrade Warranty Services offers Service Plan coverage available on most new, used, and refurbished electronics sold on eBay, Amazon and Overstock.com. Does the product I purchased have a manufacturer warranty? Warranty terms and conditions vary by product or manufacturer. Because we don’t research the ownership and warranty history on each individual item that we sell, we can’t make any assumptions regarding manufacturer warranty status. On the flip side, many of the products that we sell have NEVER been registered with the manufacturer and come with some or all of the original documentation including warranty and registration cards. If you register the product correctly, you can most likely “absorb” any manufacturer warranty that is left on the product. SHIPPING - FREIGHT I have never had anything shipped freight. What is TradePort’s freight process? All TVs over 32” are shipped via a specialist freight carrier due to a combination of their weight, dimensions and value. TradePort has partnered with Mainfreight www.mainfreightusa.com to provide our customers with the fastest and most reliable freight services for Projection, LCD and Plasma TV shipments. Yes, our posted freight rates apply to terminal delivery only. Can I have the TV delivered to my business or residence? Yes, our freight company offers delivery at an additional charge to our TV customers. In short, you pay TradePort for the initial freight terminal delivery and you would schedule and pay Mainfreight www.mainfreightusa.com for a business or residential delivery. Business or residential delivery option (mileage based on freight terminal location to delivery address):

All freight shipments are insured for 100% replacement value. The insurance costs are included in the freight shipment charge. SHIPPING - UPS What UPS service levels do you offer? At this time, we offer the following UPS shipping options to our customers: UPS Ground Domestic, UPS 2-Day Air Domestic & UPS 2-Day Air (Alaska, Hawaii & Puerto Rico). What is the delivery commitment for UPS shipments? UPS Ground Domestic - 1 to 5 business days UPS 2-Day Air Domestic - Delivery by the end of the second business day UPS 2-Day Air Alaska/Hawaii/Puerto Rico - Delivery by the end of the second business day
When will my order ship? We ship UPS orders within 24 hours of payment receipt Monday through Thursday. Orders that are paid on Friday and Saturday are shipped on Monday. Orders that are paid on Sunday and Monday are shipped Tuesday. NOTE: TradePort is closed on Saturday and Sunday. UPS transit time does not include Saturday and Sunday. Is there a tracking number assigned to my order? Yes, tracking numbers are assigned to UPS shipments immediately after the shipment is packaged and a shipping label has been printed. How will I receive UPS tracking numbers? Shipment notifications are e-mailed to your registered e-mail address immediately after your order has been processed. Do you ship to APO/FPO addresses? Sorry, but we are unable to ship to APO or FPO addresses at this time. Will TradePort ship internationally? TradePort does not ship Internationally at this time. I purchased a few items from you during the same timeframe. Can you ship them together? Yes, shipping costs are calculated based on the total weight of the item(s) being shipped. TradePort enables continuous invoice consolidation during checkout. We allow no more than 7 days between the first and the last items added to the checkout. We allow no more than 10 line items per consolidated invoice. How do you calculate shipping and handling costs? Shipping and handling costs are fixed on a per item basis. Shipping and handling costs are nominally higher for wholesale items than for retail items because each item must be personally inspected and guaranteed to be in acceptable condition and include all critical accessories. We believe a fixed cost to be an advantage. With shipping and handling costs stated up-front, the cost can be easily taken into consideration as part of the total price. The total shipping and handling cost is clearly listed in every TradePort item description. How do you calculate insurance costs for UPS shipments? We charge $2.00 for each $100.00 of the invoice subtotal above $100.00. Shipping insurance is not required. The buyer has the option to “opt out” of shipping insurance during checkout. Example: If the invoice subtotal was $300.00, you would have the option of purchasing shipping insurance for $4.00. Why is the shipping charge for this item based on 70 pounds, if the item only weighs 30 pounds? If your package has a large size-to-weight ratio, your package may be billed at dimensional weight rather than actual weight. Dimensional weight is calculated by multiplying the height in inches, by the length in inches, by the width in inches. Round each measurement to the nearest whole inch. The resulting total is the cubic size of your package. Divide the result by 194. This is the dimensional weight. The billable shipping charge of the package is the greater of these two weights:
